Migration of many species was behind due to a colder than usual spring, but many new migrants were still found on the trip. Great views of Horned Grebe off of Calf pasture were had by everyone and also the numerous Ruby-crowned Kinglets were seen well by everyone. The large mixed duck flocks had left the bay,
but many species were still around and the first Purple Martins and Yellow-rumped Warblers had arrived.
