Due to windy conditions rather than go into Presquile I led the group to the Brighton boat launch to start where close views of Redheads and Ring-necked Ducks were had. We then headed to Gosport where large rafts of ducks of several species including a few Ruddy Ducks and American Coots were in the bay. We then headed to Presquile as the winds had subsided somewhat. Stopping at the lighthouse and Calf pasture in the park increased our species list with White-winged Scoters and Long-tailed Ducks among others.
